    The salmon en croute is far better than this recipe. This version of cordon bleu lacked flavour and the moisture from the chicken, ham, and cheese caused the sides to rip open. Thinning the down may have contributed to the sides giving way.

    MY WIFE JUST MADE THIS RECIPE. SHE PUT SPINACH ALSO. WAS VERY GOOD. THE ONLY CHANGE SHE DID WAS THAT SHE DID IT WITH FATHEAD DOUGH FOR THE OUTSIDE.

    The chicken would be raw or the pastry would be burned. I’m suspicious bc the meat isn’t browned first. It would just be wet and steamy

    I tried to make this it was an absolute fail pls do not make this looks good in the video however when I made the puffed pastry was doughy from the chicken juices only the outside got crispy and the chicken was flavorless they have another chicken cordon bleu make that instead but whatever you do DONT MAKE THIS ONE

    Sorry but this is not chicken cordon bleu, it is not baked in pastry but breaded. Looks very nice though. Nice twist on a classic.

    the taste was sure better than it looked..molten cheese and chicken juice were oozing out from the pastry seams. as a result, the bottom part of the pastry was soggy.
