I use LG UltraFine 5K display around18 months, one day, there are a lot of ghost image and burn in, just stay for 5 seconds, the image will burn in, and it will take a long time to get lost. I asked for LG . Someone came to follow up, and after seeing the ghost image and called back to the company. The Engineering said " normal". I don’t accept and continue to ask LG, The Engineering only responded to "normal" without explaining any reasons and improvement methods.
The LG UltraFine 5K display in the Apple Store has a same image problem.

LG UltraFine 5K 顯示器使用18個月，突然一天，有大量殘影和邊位漏光，只需停留多5秒就會影像殘留，而且要很長時間才會取失，我在保養期內問LG維修，有人上門跟進，看見有殘影之後打回公司問，工程部話有殘影係正常，他們要求我簽文件，內容係有殘影係正常，我不接受並繼續追問LG，之後LG工程部只回覆"正常"，沒有解釋任何原因和改善方法。本人十公不滿意LG的售後服務和LG工程部用三星期調查後只回覆"正常"的態度。

Owned it, sent it for repair several times over several months, sold it.
Screen that's been riddled with issues from day one and customer support is one of the worst I've experienced.
Avoid like the plague.

How does this compare to the Dell u3219q that just recently released? I know the advantages on paper are the Dell is a 32 inch monitor so it's bigger, but the Ultrafine is a 5k Monitor where as the Dell is a 4K. I'm using it for my 2017 Macbook Pro and I might use it for my MacMini. Is the UltraFine LG monitor the same today as it was when it released 2 years ago?
What is thunderbolt exactly? Is it the same thing as USB-C?

Hey Marques, did you end up setting up two Ultrafine 5K displays? Did you lose any resolution with two displays using the MacBook Pro?
$1300 monitor looks like cheaper than $130 monitor. Not buying it, will rather go for a visually good monitor and save bunch of money.
