    Thanks. I have a tip to make it more creamy without adding cream. Instead of letting it simmer, just leave the pan on relatively high heat without the lit. Keep stirring the mixture while it is boiling. Do this for between 10 to 15 minutes. Until pasta is ready.
    5 minutes before the end turn the heat a bit down. Stir in two table spoons of flour. Always mix the flour separately in a bit of cold water first, before adding it to the pan. Or else you get thick clumps. Then just keep stirring until you have the consistency you prefer. 👍

    Just made this for the first time tonight. It will not be my last time. Easy. Delicious. Filling. Cheap. The sour cream adds a nice richness and I used smoked paprika instead of regular paprika.

    Tip: add butter to simmer the vegetables in. Also add onion powder, garlic power, worchestire sauce, some mustard, and even a little tiny dab of soy sauce if it is too bland. Also you can cook the noodles in beef stock if you have extra! Source: Russian family.

    I made this tonight, and it's not as bland as people suspect it to be. I couldn't taste the sour cream as much as I expected (probably due to the richness provided by all that beef stock), and the little bit of corn starch slurry made the texture spot on. It was a hit in my household.

    Always season after each additional ingredient is added to the pot/pan etc..
    I'm sure it's halfway decent, yet it looks like it could use some fresh lemon juice and thyme once you sauted the mushrooms for 2-3 minutes (tender). Remember kids, cooking with spices is kinda cool 😉 Nice try though!

    I made this and it was very good. I only changed 2 things. I added butter to the oil and mushrooms and I added Montreal Steak seasoning to the hamburger. Very tasty and easy.
